45th Day of Sports on November 29, 2024 in the Untermainhalle in Elsenfeld – honoring the champions – election of the athletes and teams of the year
This year marks the 45th anniversary of a popular sporting event in the district: On Friday, November 29th, the Miltenberg district and the BLSV Miltenberg district association are organizing the Sports Day at 7:30 p.m. in the Untermainhalle in Elsenfeld. As every year, one of the highlights is the honoring of the champions.
Decision only later in the evening
But the focus of the evening is not only on particularly successful local athletes who were successful as Bavarian, German or even international champions. The elections for athlete and team of the year are also eagerly awaited every year. Since the decision is only made in person during the evening by the visitors to the event, who are all entitled to vote, these elections represent a very special attraction. Because no one knows who will come out on top in the end and win the title of athlete, Athlete or team of the year can wear.
Raffle to promote youth sports
The Sparkasse Aschaffenburg-Miltenberg provided monetary donations and the Sporthaus Wolfstetter (Obernburg) provided vouchers for the elections. Furthermore, three checks donated by Sparkasse Aschaffenburg-Miltenberg will be raffled off among the clubs present to promote youth sports.
Outstanding performances
The honors are accompanied by interesting and sportingly demanding performances from clubs from the district as well as short greetings from district administrator Jens-Marco Scherf and the BLSV district chairman Adolf Zerr. The moderation is in the trusted hands of Susanne Heß and Stefan Klemm. DJ Lemmy will provide the musical accompaniment.
The sporting supporting program opens this year with a guard dance show by TSC Kleinwallstadt under the direction of Sandra Heise. Afterwards, SV UNSU Mömlingen will show what makes karate and kata so attractive. The Alisch Aschaffenburg-Miltenberg dance school, which is led by Jennifer Orth, Janine Meinlschmidt and Lena Häcker, will focus on dancing twice. And last but not least, the members of the RV Germania Niedernberg, led by Thomas Dominik, will be showing an exciting five-a-side cycling game and delighting the audience with their cycling spectacle.
