Reinforcement for our KAIZEN team – Judoverein Kaizen Berlin eV

We have had reinforcements in our coaching team since September. On the one hand with Hussein a trainer with plenty of international experience as a trainer and competitor and on the other hand Colin as a new volunteer who was involved in competitive wrestling. Welcome Colin and Hussein. Here both briefly introduce themselves.

Hello, I am Hussein33 years old and has been working at Kaizen Berlin since the end of September. I originally come from Iraq and worked there as a sports teacher and coach for the Babylonian national team. I studied physical education and judo at Babylon University. I won medals at the Asian Championships, among others. I was Arab champion seven times. In addition to my work as a sports teacher, I also worked as a medical therapist and acquired several certificates in this area. I have been involved with the club for a year and am happy to now be able to start as a full-time coach.

My name is Colin HerzogI am 19 years old and am doing my federal voluntary service at the Kaizen Berlin judo club. My areas of responsibility here at the club are very diverse. I am trained in organizational and administrative activities in the office and train several groups of children at different schools in the afternoons, supported by the experienced Kaizen trainers. However, I can draw on my own experiences that I was able to gain on a voluntary basis in another sports club. Before I began my coaching career, I was active as a martial artist in wrestling for over ten years and took part in several competitions at home and abroad. I hope that I can use the experience I gained there to actively support our young athletes in their sporting and mental development.
