S. D. Three athletes from Huelva TSV Judo This past weekend they achieved the pass for the Final Phase of the Absolute Spanish Championship which will take place at the end of this month in Canary Islands.
To make this success a reality, the Huelva entity took part in Cáceres in the Qualifying Phase of the Southern Sector of the Spanish Absolute Championshipin which the three best in each weight category from the autonomous communities of Andalusia, the Canary Islands, Castilla La Mancha, Extremadura, Ceuta and Melilla qualified for the National Championship in the Canary Islands.
The Huelva TSV Judo attended this event with four representatives, Rafael Jiménez (-73 kilos), Javier Pérez (-66), as well as Sergio Orcera (-73) and Juan José Callejas (-81), the latter two athletes who train currently in the Huelva entity for academic reasons, but who have a federation license for clubs in Córdoba and Granada.
Rafael Jiménez, in his weight category of -73 kilosadvanced until semi-finalswhere he finally gave in, obtaining the medal of bronze and his qualification for the National. Al equal what Javier Perez (-66 kgs.) y Juan José Callejas (-81 kgs.).
