ISTANBUL (AA) – In the 11th week of the Basketball THY Europa League, Anadolu Efes lost 93-84 to the French team Paris Basketball at home.

With this result, Anadolu Efes suffered its 5th defeat in the organization. Paris Basketball got its 8th victory.

Paris Basketball, which started the match effectively by scoring consecutive baskets from outside shots, increased the difference to double digits in the 4th minute: 2-13. Anadolu Efes recovered quickly with the scoring contribution of its six players and equalized in the 9th minute: 20-20. The French representative finished the first period ahead 22-20.

Anadolu Efes, which gained the upper hand against Paris Basketball in the second quarter, took the lead for the first time in the 16th minute with the points scored by Thompson from a basket and foul: 35-34. In the remaining period, both teams scored mutually from fast attacks and Paris Basketball went to the locker room with a 43-39 advantage.

In the first part of the third period, both teams tried to be effective with outside shots. Paris Basketball, which scored easily from under the basket, increased the difference to 11 in the 26th minute: 47-58. The guest team entered the last quarter ahead 66-58.

In the fourth quarter, Anadolu Efes tried to reduce the difference with the points scored by Poirier and Thompson. Paris Basketball did not allow the difference to fall below 6 points with the baskets it scored at critical moments. The French representative won the game 93-84 without scoring points from the free throw line in the last episode.
