Ciudad Victoria, Tamaulipas.- With the delivery of sports equipment and recognition to all the teachers and teams participating in the state stage of the State School Sports Games of Basic Education, this Thursday morning the Sports Leagues of the Regional Supervision were made official. . 1 of Physical Education taking place on the INDE fields.

Basic group and individual sports such as chess, athletics, badminton, basketball, baseball, handball, soccer, tae kwon do, table tennis and volleyball, come into action in this Regional Supervision No. 1 of Physical Education by Professor Francisco Javier Sánchez Saldívar.

During the event, the most distinguished teams and teachers and winners of the 2023-2024 school year who participated in the state fair held in the state capital in the months of April and May of that year were recognized.

Present in the honorary presidium were the LEF Héctor José Díaz Sandoval, head of the State Coordination of Physical Education, assigned to the Undersecretary of Basic Education of the Ministry of Education, and representative of the teacher Marcela Ramírez Jordán, Undersecretary of Basic Education; Eng. Santos Lozano Cedillo, Director of Sports Development at INDE Tamaulipas; Dr. Luz María López Leal, Director of Ford 74 Elementary School; Prof. Arturo Castillo Guevara, Director of the José Vasconcelos morning elementary school; Prof. Ramón García representing the LEF José Alfredo Salceda Gaytán, Secretary General of the D-II-200 Delegation, and the host Profr. Francisco Javier Sánchez Saldívar, head of Regional Supervision No. 1 of Physical Education.

The Honors to the National Flag were carried out by the Escolta from the Juana de Asbaje y Ramírez primary school, and Honors to the Shield of Tamaulipas from the Enrique C. Rébsamen primary school; Sports Oath by Iker Jair Hernández Andrade from the José Vasconcelos primary school in the morning.

The Ford 74 Elementary School Marching Band was also featured.

Welcome words by Prof. Francisco Javier Sánchez Saldívar and inaugural declaration by the LEF Héctor José Díaz Sandoval.

THE AWARD

From the previous 2023-2024 cycle, the following were awarded:

Women’s basketball first place Colegio La Salle, second place Colegio Ateneo Victoria and third place Ford 74; in men’s first place Ford 74, second place Colegio La Salle and third place Pedro José Méndez.

Women’s soccer, first place Colegio La Salle and men’s soccer, first place Pedro José Méndez, second place Club de Leones and third place Ford 74.

Women’s Handball first place Redención del Proletariado Matutina, second place Leona Vicario and third place José Vasconcelos Matutina; in men’s first place José Vasconcelos Matutina, second place Leona Vicario and third place José Vasconcelos Vespertina.

In women’s volleyball, first place Pedro José Méndez Matutina.

The teams, athletes and teachers who participated and won medals in the state stage were also recognized:

First place Women’s Handball primary school Redemption of the Proletariat Morning; first place in men’s handball José Vasconcelos Matutina; first place women’s basketball La Salle College; first state place in baseball and first time for the city of Victoria to win this stage; first place in women’s volleyball Pedro José Méndez; first regional place in women’s soccer at Colegio La Salle; first regional place in men’s soccer Pedro José Méndez. Also third place in men’s basketball and third place for Colegio Ateneo Victoria, third place in chess.

Finally, recognitions were given to the primary schools with the greatest participation in Sports Leagues and Clubs:

Driving No. 1 José Vasconcelos Matutina Primary School (soccer, handball, athletics, tae kwon do and color guard); Leona Vicario Elementary School (basketball, handball, athletics, tae kwon do and guards), and Victoria Elementary School (soccer, handball, athletics, tae kwon do and guards).
