The November window excitement in the FIBA ​​2025 EuroBasket Qualifiers continues at full speed with seven matches to be played tonight (Friday, November 22). Our Türkiye A National Basketball Team hosts Hungary in the third match of Group B of the qualifiers.

This match, which will be played at the Basketball Development Center built on the site of Abdi İpekçi Sports Hall, will start at 20.30 this evening. The match will be broadcast live on TRT Spor.

Competing with Italy, Iceland and Hungary in Group B of the EuroBasket Qualifiers, our national team ranks second in the group with one win and one loss.

Our national team, which was the guest of Italy in its first match in the group, was defeated with a score of 87-80. Türkiye, which hosted Iceland in Istanbul in its second match, won 76-75 with a last-second basket by Tarık Biberovic, despite having a hard time.

The 12-man squad of our National Basketball Team for the Hungary match is as follows:

Shane Larkin, Furkan Korkmaz and Doğuş Özdemiroğlu, among the names in the candidate squad, will not be able to play against Hungary this evening due to their injuries.

Ömer Faruk Yurtseven will join the national team after the home match against Hungary due to his team Panathinaikos’ EuroLeague match.

Rival Hungary continues its way in the qualifiers with two to zero. Our opponent is also in the last place of the group.

Hungary, who lost against Iceland with a score of 70-65 in their first match in the group, lost their second match at home to Italy with a score of 62-83. Therefore, this match is of great importance for Hungary to maintain their hopes in the qualifiers.
