NBA, there is no peace for the Sixers: fifth KO in a row and new injury for Paul George

There has been a lot of talk about the very delicate moment that they are experiencing Philadelphia 76ersof the injuries suffered by the three superstars, of the team meeting and of the last place in the East. But for the first time in the season Tyrese Maxey, Joel Embiid e Paul George they shared the floor at the same time and unfortunately it didn’t go as all the Sixers fans hoped. Starting from the result which, at the end of the 48 minutes played on the FedExForum parquet, saw the triumph of the Memphis Grizzlies with the result of 117-111 and forced Philadelphia to suffer a fifth consecutive KO.

But the issue that most concerns the City of Brotherly Love franchise is the injury suffered by Paul George to his left kneethe same one he injured during the preseason against the Hawks and which forced him to stay in the box for the first five games of the season.

During the third quarter George fell badly to the floor while trying to control a defensive rebound and his knee went into hyperextension. However, according to the words released to the media by coach Nick Nursethe problem faced by PG-13 would be less serious than expected:

“I don’t think it’s serious. They told me it’s similar to last time, probably a bone bruise.”

The former Clippers immediately left the floor, finishing the game with 2 points, 4 rebounds and 1/6 shooting. His injury will be re-evaluated in the coming days, the Sixers said.

In short, it is certainly not a good period for the Sixers, who however will try to start again from the 35 points and 11 rebounds scored by Joel Embiid against the Grizzlies to try to return to a victory that has been missing since last November 10th.
