Millions of dinars and other amounts in foreign currency were paid to players and coaches against a backdrop of corruption, cronyism and breach of trust. We can no longer continue with this “legal” folklore which is killing clubs.
All our clubs (all, without exception) are concerned by local and international disputes before Fifa and the CAS, among others, for unpaid salaries and bonuses to Tunisian and foreign players and coaches. This colossal number of businesses has reached an incredible level over the last five years, with a huge financial mass squandered on small players and failed coaches who, under armored contracts, were able to earn a lot of money, more than they are not worth it or deserve it. Hundreds of thousands and millions in foreign currency are expatriated to pay the unpaid debts of our “big” clubs, at a time when the Tunisian economy needs its foreign currency for other purposes. And at the root of all these devastating crises which have shaken many clubs and risk destroying Tunisian football, these famous signed contracts.
