Thank you for your continued support of Seahorse Mikawa.
On Sunday, November 17th, we invited students belonging to the basketball clubs of Anjo Special Needs School, Nishio Special Needs School, and Miai Special Needs School to the Aisin Gymnasium for a joint event between the three schools. We held a basketball clinic and social event.
#10 Jake Layman, #18 Ryogo Kadono, and U18 head coach Kazuki Takashima served as instructors, and Seahorse Mikawa U18 players who are the same age as the students who participated also supported the clinic. .
At first, the students looked nervous, but once the clinic started, the students actively asked questions of the players and coaches, and they also tried to communicate with students from other schools, making it a very meaningful time.
At the Q&A session at the event, #10 Jake Layman and #18 Ryogo Kadono were asked many questions, including basketball-related questions, and everyone had a great time.
Through the activities of the Seahorse Mikawa Sustainability Project “BeWith,” we will continue to promote sports and provide sports education with the aim of creating a brighter society through smiles.
