With a total of 112 participants from 30 different Bavarian clubs, the response to the 26th edition of the Rodinger Epiphany Cup tournament was huge. With a shortened set distance of up to 15 points, a total of almost 300 games were played, so that this year’s winner of the club rankings – ESV Neuaubing – could be announced after the individual finals at around 8:45 p.m. The race for overall victory was more exciting than ever before and the second-placed TSV Regen and the third-placed club BC Bodenwöhr with the highest number of participants were each only one and two points behind. Helmut Blomeyer was once again represented all day with his “SiamSports” tournament stand. A long, tiring but still very entertaining day of the tournament came to an end with a shared meal in the Rodinger town hall together with many badminton friends from near and far.
At this point, the badminton department of TB 03 Roding would like to once again thank all the loyal and new participants who made the journey to Roding and contributed to the great atmosphere and thus a successful start to the new badminton tournament year 2023. We wish you all a good and successful start to the second half of the season and would be happy to welcome you back to the Rodinger triple gym next year for the 27th edition of our traditional event.
