Sports agenda: Zaanse teams want to look up

The Kraaien hockey ladies can use all the support on Sunday in Purmerend, where they will defend their leading position. That support comes from an unexpected source. Furthermore, there are many Zaanse sports teams that want to look up. The volleyball players of VV Zaanstad men 1 have only known what winning is since last week, KZ wants to get the first points and Rugby Zaandijk is also trying to find its way up.

This is the sports agenda for the coming weekend.

Hockey

The Kraaien ladies play the last match before the winter break in Purmerend. They are in the lead with three points over number two and Purmerend is 4th. All support is therefore welcome to become ‘autumn champion’. That’s why it’s nice that the gentlemen also play in Purmerend. That last game in the reserve competition is more than a nice addition to their encouragement along the line.
