Indore. After Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh, now BRTS (Bus Rapid Transit System) will be removed from Indore also. CM Dr. Mohan Yadav made a big announcement on Thursday regarding the BRTS corridor of Indore. He said that like Bhopal, Indore’s BRTS will also be removed. If necessary, the government will also present its stand regarding this before the court.

CM said, as BRTS was removed in Bhopal, it has facilitated traffic. In Indore too, we are getting complaints from people regarding BRTS, whatever method has to be implemented, we will remove it. There is a traffic problem at our intersections, we will find a solution by building a bridge. If we build a bridge, BRTS will have to be removed.

Case pending in High Court

The matter of breaking or not breaking BRTS in Indore is under consideration in the High Court. Actually, about 11.5 km long BRTS is built from Niranjanpur to Rajiv Gandhi Statue in Indore.

Two PILs regarding this were filed in the Indore bench of the High Court, which have been transferred to the main bench (Jabalpur) of the High Court. The matter was to be heard before the Chief Justice on Tuesday, but the number did not come.
