Good harvest of medals for Catamarca in the National Judo
The Catamarca delegation stood out among 24 federations from across the country.
The Closing National Judo Championship was held in the province of Jujuy with the presence of the best judokas in the country. The province of Catamarca was represented with a delegation of boys who represented the Federation and are from different schools.
Catamarca had 19 competitors in a contest that had 1,200 participants from 24 federations from all over the country. The people of Catamarca were represented by the 250-home municipal and San Ramón municipal gymnasiums, the Cuban judo school, the Judokan gymnasium of Nueva Coneta (Capayán) and Paclín.
The province was ranked 15th in the medal table with seven medals, three gold, one silver, three bronze and three fifth places. The delegation had Osvaldo Temprano García as technicians (5to and), Manuel Alejandro Romero (5to and) y Ramona Pontifice (1st dan) and as president of the Federation was Carlos Romanos (7mo and).
