Five disciplines and more than 1,200 athletes star in a new day of the Cabildo Games

Five modalities and more than 1,200 boys and girls star in the sporting activity of the XXXVIII Cabildo Games this weekend: racquetball, cross country, judo, handball and volleyball.

The second phase of fronteni s is being held in two days, on Thursday the 21st and Saturday the 23rd. On this Thursday afternoon, starting at 4:00 p.m., the frontons of the Círculo de la Amistad XII de Enero, in Barranco Hondo, Candelaria, hosted the male and female youth rubber paddle competition, in which a hundred athletes participated. While on Saturday, November 23, the competition will move to the frontons of the Real Club Náutico de Tenerife: in the morning, at 9:00 a.m., the pre-Olympic competition for the youngest and youngest categories will begin and in the afternoon, from At 5:00 p.m., the children’s and cadet pre-Olympic competition and the silver category will be held.

On the other hand, the cross country final will take us on Saturday to tour the Golf del Sur circuit, in the municipality of San Miguel de Abona. The tests will begin at 10:00 am and will bring together some 600 athletes of all categories, from sub-10 to sub-16, male and female, under the watchful eye of the Technical Organization and the Insular Athletics Federation from Tenerife. Judo faces its second day this Saturday starting at 9:30 a.m. at the IES Mencey Acaymo Sports Center, in Güímar, and will mobilize more than 200 judokas in the junior and junior categories. The judo competition at the XXXVII Cabildo Games is organized jointly with the Tenerife Federation of Judo and Associated Sports, with the collaboration of the different town councils and judo clubs on the Island.

Handball faces its third day of the Insular League in the juvenile, children’s and cadet male and female categories. The matches will be played on Saturday starting at 9:00 a.m. in different pavilions on the island, under the watchful eye of the Tenerife Island Handball Federation.

This Saturday’s call will be completed with a new day of the Insular Volleyball League with the participation of about 200 children who will play their matches on different courts on the island starting at 9:00 am. The competition is organized jointly with the Tenerife Island Volleyball Federation.
