Bogotá, Nov 22 (EFE).- Forwards Catalina Usme, from Turkish Galatasaray, and Mayra Ramírez, from English Chelsea, stand out on the squad list for the Colombian women’s team that will play a friendly match with Argentina in the United States. The Colombian Football Federation reported this Friday.
The Colombian coach, Ángelo Marsiglia, has this game as a laboratory for the Copa América Femenina 2025, which will take place in Ecuador on July 12 and August 2 and will grant two places to the 2027 Women’s World Cup in Brazil.
The attacker Linda Caicedo, who scored the goal in Real Madrid’s victory on matchday four of the Champions League, is not on the list for this match to be played in the American city of Fort Lauderdale on November 30. Neither does the defense Jorelyn Carabalí
The return of full-back Manuela Vanegas stands out, who recovered from a delicate injury.
The Colombian team will gather in Bogotá on Monday, November 25 and three days later they will travel to Fort Lauderdale, to face Argentina on Saturday the 30th.
