CM Sai will give a gift worth crores to Bilaspur

Chhattisgarh News: Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai will launch various development works at a cost of Rs 143 crore 68 lakh in Bilaspur on 23 November. On this occasion, he will inaugurate Sakri Road, Minocha Road, Sports Complex, Mini Stadium, multilevel parking near City Kotwali and Ram Setu Marg built on the banks of Arpa River. Along with this, he will also participate in Raut Nacha Mahotsav, which will be organized at Lal Bahadur Shastri School.

Ram Setu Marg

The road on the right side of the Arpa River is named Ram Setu Marg, which is part of the Arpa Upliftment and Bank Enhancement Project. This route has been constructed at a cost of Rs 49 crore 98 lakh, which includes footpaths, dividers, street lights, retaining walls, pitching and beautification works.

mini stadium

Bilaspur Smart City Limited has constructed a mini stadium at a cost of Rs 21 crore 79 lakh by beautifying the grounds of the prestigious Government Multipurpose Higher Secondary School of the city. This stadium has a cricket field of 14115 square meters, which has a capacity of 850 spectators and day-night matches can also be played here.

Apart from this, there are also facilities for indoor games like snooker, billiards, table tennis and squash, along with a modern gym and training hall. Apart from this, there are also arrangements for VIP gallery, announcement box, pantry room and hostel for outside players. Two lawn tennis courts have also been built.

Sports Complex

A sports complex has been constructed at the Sanjay Taran Pushkar Complex at a cost of Rs 14 crore 60 lakh. This three-storey complex has parking in the basement, reception and restaurant on the ground floor, badminton, squash courts, table tennis, snooker and billiards facilities on the first floor. Multipurpose hall, yoga and mat games facilities are available on the second floor, while various entertainment facilities are provided on the third floor.

Kotwali Multilevel Parking

A three-storey multilevel parking has been constructed in the Kotwali police station premises at a cost of Rs 29 crore 76 lakh, in which parking facility for 192 cars and 325 bikes will be available. The ground floor has been developed as a commercial complex, in which 46 shops have been constructed.

Uslapur-Sakri Road

Four and a quarter kilometer road has been upgraded and widened from Uslapur Railway Overbridge to Sakri Bypass Chowk at a cost of Rs 15 crore 87 lakh. This has facilitated transportation and solved the problem of traffic jams. In this project, the width of the route has been increased, dividers, street lights and drains have been constructed on both sides.

Minocha Colony and other road works

Asphalting, upgradation, signage and road marking work of various roads of the city has been done at a cost of Rs 11 crore 68 lakh. This mainly includes construction of 800 meter road from Mahavir Nagar Chowk to Uslapur Overbridge, divider, street light and rotary work.
