The Racing Club Benavente already has everything ready to celebrate the 11th anniversary of its traditional Mini Olympics, a sporting event that has brought together dozens of boys and girls since 2013. This year, as in previous editions, the collaboration with Mundo Didido continues to be key to offering a unique and varied experience, consolidating itself as one of the most anticipated events of the Benaventana Christmas.
This year, the Mini Olympics will have a wide variety of disciplines that are divided into four categories: popular, minority, alternative and adapted sports.
In the first category, participants will be able to enjoy sports such as football, indoor soccer, basketball, handball and athleticswell-known disciplines that have a large social mass. But the range will also open to sports less practiced in Spain, such as baseball, rugby, badminton, volleyball, hockey and lacrosse. In addition, the most daring will be able to delve into alternative sports such as acrosport, datchball, tchoukball, mazaball, floorball, kinball or the ultimatewhich increasingly attract young people due to their innovative nature.
Los adapted sports there will be no shortage, and participants will be able to try the goalball, soccer and basketball for the blindactivities that seek to promote the inclusion and integration of all boys and girls, regardless of their abilities.
The activities will be held in the Los Sauces Pavilion, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with an option for early risers from 8:45 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The event will take place for several days, on December 23, 24, 26, 27 and December 30, 31, to continue on January 2, 3 and 7.
Open registrations
The Mini Olympics are aimed at boys and girls born between 2009 and 2021, and the aim is for participants to enjoy three different sports every day. To register, interested parties are required to have autonomy in basic physiological operations and to attend at least three days to be eligible for special registration gifts.
Registration is open until December 14 through the online form or by telephone at 689208920. Places are limited and the activity will be carried out with a minimum of 15 registrations.
