As was the case last year Women’s team +35 TC Pleidelsheim won the title in the 1st Bundesliga! At the South group match day in Nuremberg in September we were able to qualify for the finals, which will now take place on September 9th/10th. November took place in Mülheim an der Ruhr. There we met the teams from TC Weiden (Cologne) and TC Weyhe in the preliminary round on Saturday. Each of the three games per encounter was hard fought and the standard was consistently very high. In the end, all three teams won the same number of matches, but TC Pleidelsheim won the most sets and so we came first in the group!
This meant we moved into the final game on Sunday against TG Nord Düsseldorf, who had clearly dominated their preliminary round with a very homogeneously strong team. But optimally positioned by player coach Jimena, we won the final 2-1 with great celebration and were able to brilliantly defend our title: “German Champion 1st Bundesliga” after 2024! The atmosphere and support within the team was indescribable and certainly the key to success. Another milestone in our club history! Pleidelsheim has firmly established itself in the rapidly growing German padel scene. Keep it up!
Die active ladies of the 1st Bundesliga were able to reach 6th place among the 16 best teams from all over Germany in the finals. Unfortunately, they narrowly lost to the eventual runners-up in the final round, which was played in Essen on November 16th and 17th.
