Head Coach of our Women’s Basketball Team, Aziz Akkaya, said the following in his statement after the away match against SL Benfica, in which we won 76-55:
“My biggest wish was to return from here without any injuries. How happy we are coming back without any injuries. We are a stronger team with goals. It’s always nice to win away. Our team is slowly settling in. Our difficult matches will begin in Türkiye and the Europa League. We tried to give as many players a chance as possible. We make everyone play. Our staff is expanding and our system is established. I hope we can win the next matches this easily. We have a promise to our community. We will do our best. We want to crown this year with a cup. Of course, we expect our biggest supporters, our fans, to the matches we will play from now on. “I congratulate our players who won in this difficult away match.”
