Thanks Rafa! is the new interactive project created by the Spanish Radio Television Innovation Laboratory, better known as the Lab. An experience designed for the tennis player’s followers to get closer to Rafa Nadal’s universe in a unique and personal way that is part of the series FanLab, to honor different famous people.
On the occasion of his retirement from professional competition, the RTVE Lab has chosen the left-hander from Manacor to relive his historical moments on the field, explore his most human side and offer all users the possibility of playing and getting personalized cards that perform tribute to his figure after 20 years of professional career.
In this new FanLab, users can choose which of their iconic bites is their favorite; remember his rivals or explore the more superstitious side of Nadal, which is characterized by a series of tics in each match.
From lining up his water bottles to not stepping on the lines, fans can learn about the practices with which Rafa channels his concentration and energy to remain invincible on the court. The game also gives access to iconic images of Rafa savoring his victories, from Olympic gold to the coveted trophies won at Roland Garros.
Nadal’s FanLab experience is designed for the public to relive the most epic moments and the particularities that make the Spaniard a unique and unrepeatable tennis player. Would you be able to narrate the 2008 Wimbledon final against Roger Federer? This is just one of the challenges on offer that test the memory of fans with the historic final considered by many to be the best match in the history of tennis.
