Casale Monferrato (Junior Casale – Basketball 7 Laghi Gazzada 80-67) – The first half of the season ended with a victory for Junior Casale who won 80-67 in the home match against Basket 7 Laghi. Balanced match that was decided in the last quarter where the Rossoblù scored a 25-8 run which earned them the victory. A tense start for the two teams, then Bovo tries to lead his team with two consecutive triples for the 8-2. Arioli’s men are coming off a mixed championship so far, having won five out of ten games, six if today’s game is counted, but with a positive series of three games won and after a difficult start they seem to have got into the right rhythm. The Casalesi still have to do without Avonto but in the end they prevail with a clear 80-67 which, however, is the result of a very hard-fought match and in which the Monferrato team played mostly in pursuit, as can be seen from the partial time sheets. Where, after a sprint start by the hosts which allowed a 26/22 after the first quarter, it was the Lombardi who closed the second and third quarter of the match with scores of 42/45 and 54/59.
