The latter is none other than the very recent Paris 2024 Paralympic champion in badminton. His disability, namely its small sizecaused him to suffer numerous mockery during his life. Difficult moments that he notably discussed with the former Prime Minister.
“Before, people took pictures of me to make fun of my disability”explains Charles Noakes, whose success in badminton allowed him to overcome all the injustices he may have experienced in the past. A speech necessarily touching Gabriel Attal, whose homosexuality also forced him to go through terrible times. However, one sequence particularly struck Internet users: the badminton match played between the politician and the sportsman who won a gold medal at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.
Former Prime Minister gets busted at badminton
Indeed, Gabriel Attal and Charles Noakes headed to the sports locker rooms to put on their badminton outfits. A specialty of the Paris 2024 Paralympic champion, this discipline is a little less so for the former prime minister who found himself in some difficulty. A very limited performance which earned him a few little jokes from the professional athlete: “We have to send the steering wheel back, eh!”.
In the end, Gabriel Attal had no other choice than to recognize defeat and his great difficulty in getting out of it, racket in one hand and shuttlecock in the other. “Spoiler : I got busted“he notably indicated in the caption of his video published on Tiktok.
