Mazatlán, Sinaloa. – Eduardo Sarabia, a talent with roots in Mazatlán, has been recognized with the 2024 Mazatlán Pride Award, an award given by Venados de Mazatlán and that celebrates the excellence and impact of Mazatlán people in their communities and beyond.

This artist has brought the cultural richness of his homeland to the most prestigious stages in the world, positioning himself as a reference for contemporary Mexican art.

From his early years, Sarabia showed a deep connection with the traditions and identity of Mazatlán. These roots have been the constant inspiration for his work, which fuses artisanal techniques, cultural narrative and a unique style that combines the ancestral with the modern.

THE ANNOUNCEMENT

During the announcement, the President of the Board of Directors of Grupo Venados, José Antonio Toledo Ortiz, pointed out the importance of this award, which is given for the third consecutive year and in which tribute is paid to a character who transcends internationally at the hands of of the name of Mazatlán, this to continue raising the name of the municipality.

For his part, Óscar García, jury coordinator, explained the process that was followed and announced the winner.

It will be next December 1 when the recognition will be presented, during the game between Venados de Mazatlán and Ciudad Obregón.
