Morelia, Michoacán, November 23, 2024.- The 2025 budget project, presented by Governor Alfredo Ramírez Bedolla to the local Congress, is 98 thousand 935 million 474 thousand 315 pesos, 3.63 percent more than in 2024, reported the Secretary of Finance and Administration, Luis Navarro García.

He stated that the 2025 document is a well-made and realistic document that does not contemplate new taxes or debt, and does, instead, propose growth, balance, order, financial discipline, stability and a historic investment, greater than 9 billion pesos, in infrastructure works.

Navarro García pointed out that during 2025, 9,438 million pesos will be allocated to state infrastructure, almost three times more than the amount that the administration will pay for financial debt, a figure that will be 3,215 million pesos, thanks to the negotiations. that were done with the banking institutions.

After mentioning the strengthening of education, security and social well-being, he announced that his own income has increased thanks to digitalization and the trust of citizens in the state administration, which has presented results of social impact.

He mentioned that in 2021, the Michoacán Government’s own income was 4.8 percent, while in 2024 it is 6.6 percent, “and in 2025 we will undoubtedly reach 10 percent, without the need for new taxes.”

Finally, Navarro García reaffirmed the commitment of the current state management to return Michoacán its dignity and comprehensive and sustained development in favor of its inhabitants.
