Alyssa Nakken, the woman who made history does two years in the Major Leagues goes for more memorable chapters within the “King of Sports”. The 34-year-old Californian left the San Francisco Giants and now starting in the 2025 campaign, she will show her talent in the Cleveland Guardians.

The coach wrote her name forever in the MLB by becoming the first female field coach during a Major League game. This act occurred on April 12, 2022 when he entered as a replacement for the expelled Antoan Richardson to take charge of the actions at first base in a duel between the Giants against the San Diego Padres.
A year later Nakken interviewed for a positionn managerial position within the San Francisco Giants, although without success, while in 2024 She also went down in history once she became pregnant and was the first Major League Baseball coach to be entitled to maternity leave.

Alyssa Nakken will now continue her career in the Major Leagues with the extinct Indians. An organization in which he will meet other coaches such as Craig Albernaz and Kai Correa, with whom he met in San Francisco. Nakken will collaborate for manager Stephen Vogt.

Nakken joins a few Cleveland Guardians betting onor gender equality in various positions in the franchise. She joins Amanda Kamekona, who Since last year he has been part of the coaching staff. He has experience in what happens in the outfield and in the batter’s box. Both strategists began their experience in softball until making the transition to baseball.
