Club championship in badminton (doubles) – Uferlos Sportverein Karlsruhe

We invite you to our club championship in badminton (doubles), this year on a Friday in the Heinrich-Hübsch-Halle (OG). The event is open to all Uferlos members, but there will only be one common rating, so no separation by gender.

After a short warm-up, the judging is scheduled to begin at 8:35 p.m. The game is played with plastic shuttlecocks. We play on up to three fields. Just like in our ribbon tournament, the pairings are completely randomly shuffled in each round. A winning set of up to 21 points is played per round, whereby a lead of at least two points must be achieved at the end of the set – but a maximum of 30 points. At 29:29 the next point leads to the set win. As soon as a pairing reaches 11 points, the sides switch. Once all games in a round have ended, the next round continues until 9:50 p.m. If this time is reached or exceeded at the time when the result of the last open match of a round is entered, the scoring is over.

At the end, the person with the most wins per round played wins. In the event of a tie, the difference in points (points won minus points lost) decides.

At the end of the day we will of course go to our traditional restaurant “Pfannestiel”.

The best three players will be honored the day after next at our Christmas party.

Please register by December 12th at the latest to [email protected]
