Thus mayor Daniela Ghergo responds to the attack of councilor Danilo Silvi (Brothers of Italy): “The photograph shown by Silvi is old” claims the mayor in posting via social media a “photo of the gym taken today”. Then the appeal: “Anyone who encounters concrete and current problems is invited to report them through institutional channels, so as to allow the administration to verify them and intervene promptly”. But in the meantime, make a mystery about the photos because even the one posted by the mayor Daniela Ghergo actually shows stains as if from humidity. Silvi does not hesitate to point this out: “As is evident from the photo posted by the mayor himself, in fact, the problems are far from resolved. In fact, evident stains of humidity can still be seen, especially at the foot of the wall. What the mayor’s intervention and photo Ghergo, a good example is, rather, the state of absolute degradation in which the structure finds itself, recently brought to the honours, or rather, to the disgraces of the news throughout Italy, due to the reports of the rhythmic champions (Sofia Raffaeli had spoken last December of the cold in the gym where he trains, ed.). Chipped walls, damp stains, detached skirting boards and so on and so forth a sensational own goal. One would almost laugh at these clumsy attempts to conceal reality by this inadequate and incompetent administration, if it weren’t for the fact that the athletes and citizens of Fabriano are the ones who lose out. I realize – adds the opposition councilor – that my report may annoy the mayor, but citizens have the right to report inefficiencies and critical issues as they see fit. Those who collect them, whether at a local or provincial level, are doing nothing more than their duty.
