FIFA and Web3 game studio Mythical Games have announced a partnership to launch FIFA Rivals, an officially licensed free football game. The game is scheduled to be released in 2025 and will be available on iOS and Android platforms. FIFA Rivals combines real-time arcade-style football matches where players manage their own football club and compete against others. The game also features a market based on the Mythos blockchain, allowing players to trade football star collectibles in the form of NFTs. (Blockworks)
