Eagle Pass, Texas.- The Eagle Pass High School (EPHS) Eagles added their eighth win of the 2024-2025 Texas student basketball season, defeating the San Marcos High School Panthers at home 75-48.
The team from this border came out and dominated practically the entire match by taking a 20-10 lead in the first quarter, then registering 22-15 and thus reaching the first half break with a 42-25 lead.
The remaining quarters were similar as they ended with scores of 16-7 and 17-16 for the final 75-48 that gave them the victory.
With the result, the EPHS Eagles had a record of eight games won by one lost and are in first place in District 30-6A, yesterday afternoon they had to play against the Cornerstone Christan Warriors of San Antonio.
For their part, the San Antonio Panthers were left with four wins in exchange for six losses in their respective district.
