One man had a baseball bat in the car, another had a stun gun without the red cap, which prevents the possibility of inserting real bullets. They were both in Ivrea and, on the night between Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 November 2024, they were reported by the Carabinieri, during a series of night checks which also revealed other crimes.
The checks in Ivrea
The military, again in Ivrea, caught a 38-year-old driving drunk, seized almost 10 grams of hashish and reported 6 people to the prefecture. To immobilize one, they also had to use stinging spray: she was drunk and had recently caused a minor road accident.
Among the areas controlled there is also the Movicentro in via Dora Baltea, where on Thursday 21 November two boys were stabbed during a fight. Luckily, their injuries are minor and not life-threatening.
The checks in Chivasso
On the evening of November 23, the carabinieri also carried out a series of checks in Chivasso, in front of the station. 3 people, 2 men and a woman, were reported to the prefecture because they had a few grams of hashish or marijuana with them. A 19-year-old was fined for driving without a licence.
The narcotic substances found during the checks were seized. In all, more than 100 vehicles and around 130 people were checked.
