On September 21st 3 women from Weixdorf competed in the Central German Championship. With one silver and two bronze medals, they achieved a 100% medal quota and thus showed that they had rightly qualified. With 9 participants each, the weight classes up to 40 kg and up to 48 kg were also well attended in terms of numbers. Even in the 33 kg limit there were still 5 fighters competing.
Johanna (-48 kg) and Emilia (-40 kg) initially fought their way to the semi-finals. Both fighters failed to make it to the final and ended up in the fight for third place. Johanna, initially disappointed by the semi-finals, was able to re-motivate herself for the medal fight and won it confidently. Emilia went with Waza-Ari

Emma had to complete four fights in the pool of 5. The eventual first place winner was impossible to crack. The same thing happened to the other fighters in the weight class. So both Emma, Zoe (Bautzen) and Bianca (SV Halle) found themselves in the fight for second place after a win against the eventual fifth-placed team.
