Jinhua primary and secondary school football autumn league opens
On the morning of November 23, the 2024 Jinhua City Primary and Secondary School Football Autumn League opened at Aiqing Middle School. Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Mayor Zhang Jian announced the start of the league, Deputy Mayor Zhuang Lingfei delivered a speech, and Municipal Government Secretary-General Chu Huibin attended.
Since 2004, the city’s primary and secondary school football league has been held for 20 consecutive years. According to the schedule, in this league, there will be a 5-a-side system for primary school competitions, an 8-a-side system for junior high school competitions, and an 11-a-side system for high school and secondary vocational competitions. The competition was held at the Municipal Sports School and Xiaoshun Town Central Primary School, Jinyi Primary School, Guangnan Middle School and other competition areas in Jindong District. A total of 33 campus football teams participated.
At the opening ceremony, the municipal football team and the municipal youth men’s football team staged a wonderful friendly match to warm up for the league. Subsequently, Ai Qing Middle School and Pujiang No. 2 Middle School appeared as the two sides in the first match of the middle school group. The 2024 Jinhua City Primary and Secondary School Football Autumn League officially kicked off. On the green field, players from both sides tried their best, with sharp attacks, tacit cooperation, and wonderful saves, which made the game climax one after another, setting off a youthful storm of campus football throughout the field.
In recent years, campus football in our city has developed vigorously, and the guarantee of teachers and venues has been continuously strengthened. At present, there are 149 national-level football specialty schools in the city, 219 provincial-level campus football specialty schools, and more than 1,560 campus football teams. This year, our city was successfully selected as a prefecture-level campus football reform pilot, which will stimulate more potential in talent selection, integration of sports and education, and scientific training.
