Giannis Antetokounmpo is expanding his entrepreneurial empire with the launch of Build Your Legacy (BYL) Ventures, an investment fund dedicated to sports and entertainment. This initiative marks a new stage in the diversification of the NBA champion’s activities.
BYL Ventures positions itself as a platform to support promising entrepreneurs in the fields of sports, media and entertainment. The fund, which focuses on early-stage investments, has already completed its first operations by participating in the financing of Unrivaled, a new professional 3-on-3 women’s basketball league, and Candy Funhouse, a confectionery platform influential.

“This fund is not just about capital, but about partnerships and opening my network to accelerate the growth trajectory of companies”explains the Milwaukee Bucks player who will occupy the role of general partner. The Greek basketball player particularly wants to support entrepreneurs who have faced obstacles in their journey.
Beyond simple financial investment, BYL Ventures also offers an incubation program offering personalized support to selected entrepreneurs. This initiative is a continuation of Antetokounmpo’s entrepreneurial activities, which already has interests in several sports franchises, including the Milwaukee Brewers (MLB) and Nashville SC (MLS).
Under the joint leadership of Antetokounmpo and Tashi Nakanishi, other general partner, BYL Ventures aims to become a major player in the sports-business ecosystem, with an emphasis on innovation and the diversity of the entrepreneurs supported.
