Anupam Kher, one of the great actors of Indian cinema, is known for serious, comic and sometimes villainous roles. Kher is always open about his personal and professional life. Anupam recently told a different story of his life at the International Film Festival. In this, Anupam comes to know about the teachings he received from his father.
At IFFI, Anupam Kher shared a special anecdote related to his father about his schooling. He told that after giving the 10th class examination, he got admission in class 11th. At that time schools used to transfer students to the next class without waiting for the results. If a boy failed, he would get admission again in the previous class i.e. 10th. Something similar happened with Anupam Kher also. Anupam told that once his father came to school and took him to a good hotel for dinner. His father would take the family to this hotel only on special occasions. His father celebrated despite knowing that his son had failed in class 10th. Anupam told that he also learned from his father how to keep himself capable even in difficult situations.
