ELF and the association have been arguing for some time
Christian Rothe, the German coach of the year in 2023, will take over Fatah’s job with the national team.
The relationship between the ELF and the AFVD has been viewed as broken for some time. Most recently, the ELF dissolved an agreement regarding transfers from the GFL to the ELF. “It turned out that this agreement only benefited one side – namely the AFVD. We have repeatedly reached out over the past few months and have been open to discussions in order to further develop our sport together and move it forward. But nothing came of it back, every suggestion, every impulse from our side was rejected and blocked,” said ELF Commissioner Patrick Esume.
