The Spurs have never hidden their ambition this season: everything to compete in the playoffs. The franchise could start to dream, especially given the latest results. A reason for hope for observers.
With Victor Wembanyama, Chris Paul, Stephon Castle and Devin Vassell (once back), the Spurs have always wanted to make the playoffs this season. The Western Conference is tough but Mitch Johnson’s men have reason to believe in it, as we can see from a few meetings and this series of 3 victories.
By dominating the Thunder or the Warriors, the Texans showed a pretty face, partly without Wembanyama. The return of the Frenchman obviously does a lot of good, even if the supporters are also awaiting that of Devin Vassell, hampered by his knee. Afterwards ? We can finally start judging this franchise NBA correctly.
Spurs ready to make noise in the West?
Their 9-8 record isn’t great at the moment, but the momentum is positive for the Spurs right now. Enough to give hope to fans, with observers rather ambitious for the future.
