This is how the LVBP 2024 – 2025 goes after what we experienced this Saturday, November 23 and according to our updated standings table with all the Venezuelan baseball teams.
Professional baseball in Venezuela is ending its seventh week of action and the standings had several movements after what happened this Saturday. Margarita’s Bravos continue to win and this Saturday they achieved a new victory against Las Águilas in the difficult Guatamare stadium.
There are already 13 wins in 16 games in that house. A record rarely seen in the LVBP.
The Marabinos, for their part, have gone three consecutive games without winning and still have two more games left on the island.
Those who have collapsed and have been in the news this week are the Tigres de Aragua, who have lost 5 games in a row and fell to penultimate place in the table. The fall comes after being in the top positions for many weeks.
The poor record of 3-7 in the last 10 games has allowed the Sharks, Cardinals and Lions to rise in the standings thanks to their positive records in the last 5 days.
The Venezuelan Professional Baseball League (LVBP) from Venezuela has the Sharks, the current Venezuelan baseball champions, as big favorites. However, Magallanes, Bravos and Águilas are playing great baseball and can get into the fight to take away the championship.
From now on, all teams want to accumulate the greatest number of games won to comfortably qualify for the Round Robin (all against all system).
This year the regular season ends earlier. Because adjustments have been made for the start date of the Mexicali Caribbean Series.
The games will end on December 21 and after Christmas, the 2025 Round Robin will begin to define the two teams that will be in the LVBP Final.
