Antananarivo, November 25, 7:15 a.m. – Consecration. Jean Michel Ramaroson, president of the Malagasy Basketball Federation, is appointed vice-president of Fiba Africa. The announcement was made by the FMBB, Sunday evening, at the end of the second general assembly of the Fiba Central Office for Africa from November 18 and 19 in Abidjan, Ivory Coast.
This appointment had already been in the wings for a few months. A source close to this governing body of African basketball had already raised this subject in August. Jean Michel Ramaroson is also a member of the Fiba executive committee.
