Castelnaudary hosted the 28th tournament of its badminton club this weekend. More than 300 matches have been played.
A great event which takes place every year, and which brought together more than 180 players from 45 clubs in Occitania. The Millénaire gymnasium had been divided into 7 fields to accommodate the 300 matches which took place over the weekend. There is work to be done for the twenty volunteers who are to be credited with an almost perfect organization, around the new management team: the presidents Cédric Morelle, Julien Lagarde and Fan Feyte, as well as the secretary and organizer Joël Tant, the treasurer. Thomas Djebbari and administrators Camille Teysseira, Mathieu Bernalla and Yoan Milhau. It should be noted that many combine the functions of volunteers, but also of competitors and leaders. All the players of the Chaurien club benefit from the advice of Valentin Estival, the coach under an apprenticeship contract with the club. A hell of a team.
