Jakob Pöltl and his Toronto Raptors lost away to the Cleveland Cavaliers 108:122 (55:65).

The 29-year-old achieved his fifth double-double in a row with twelve points and 19 rebounds. It is his 101st in his NBA career.

Toronto eventually runs out of juice

Despite a poor start in the first quarter, Toronto looks like it could pose a threat to Cleveland. At the end of the third quarter, the Raptors reduced the deficit to three points. Ultimately, the “Cavs” don’t let anything go wrong, gain a comfortable lead and keep it safe over time.

In the Eastern Conference, Toronto is in 13th place with a record of 4-13, while Cleveland (17-1) is the undisputed first.

Defending champion Boston Celtics achieved a narrow 107:105 home win against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Sunday evening (CET) and remained close to the Cavaliers with 14 wins and 3 defeats.
