Even without basketball world champion Dennis Schröder, the Brooklyn Nets celebrated an away win in the NBA. The team from New York won 108:103 at the Sacramento Kings and celebrated their seventh success in the 17th game. The Nets were missing the German international for the first time this season; the playmaker was unable to play due to ankle problems. Without Schröder, Brooklyn’s other guard Cam Thomas excelled with 34 points.
The Dallas Mavericks also had to make do without their star development player because Luka Doncic was still out with a wrist injury. The runner-up lost to the Miami Heat 118:123 after overtime. Maxi Kleber was only on the field for almost nine and a half minutes and couldn’t get any of his four shots into the basket. With 33 points, Miami star Jimmy Butler was the best shooter of the game.
