He breaks down the door of an apartment and threatens a girl and her mother with a baseball bat, arrested

Last Thursday 21 November the police arrested a man red-handed for attempted aggravated robbery and carrying weapons or objects capable of offending. The person who called 112 was a young woman from Concesio (in the province of Brescia) who had to take refuge under a table to escape the stranger. The man, in fact, had managed to break down the door of the house and he was threatening the girl and her mother with a baseball bat. According to what has been reconstructed so far, the stranger had been appearing in front of their home for a few days asking for money.

The call to the single emergency number was made last Thursday night. A young woman had explained on the phone to the carabinieri at the Villa Carcina station that one unknown had managed to break down the door to his home in Concesio and, brandishing a baseball bat, had threatened her and asked for money. Upon the arrival of the military, the man, of Pakistani origin and with police records for property crimeswas still on the landing of the house and in a clear state of psychophysical alteration.

At that point, the police stopped him and searched him. In addition to the baseball bat, the man had on his person two switchblade knives and a can of pepper spray. According to investigators, he would have used those objects to threaten the girl and her mother who, to escape him, had taken refuge under a table. The two then said that already other times in recent days that same person had shown up at their house asking for money.

The police, therefore, have it arrested with the hypothesis of the crime of attempted aggravated robbery and possession of weapons or objects capable of offending. Conducted in the Brescia prison, the arrest was validated after the validation hearing before the investigating judge of the Court of Brescia.
