Three pitchers who were part of the Cuban team in the recently completed Premier 12 tournament will join teams from Venezuela and Nicaragua for the remainder of the season in the main baseball leagues of those nations, according to several press reports.
The Tigres de Aragua, of the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League (LVBP), will welcome Raymond Figueredo from the capital and Frank Luis Medina from Pinar del Río to their roster, according to the information published by the specialized site Pelota Cubana.

The shooters will arrive to reinforce the staff of a team that this year had the services of Lázaro Blanco and Yonner Negrín, both Cubans, which is in the penultimate position of the table with a discreet balance of 14-16, the publication states.
The situation of the Bengal team has become more complex in recent times, as they have suffered five consecutive defeats and seven in their ten most recent outings.
Both Figueredo and Medina had a poor performance in the group stage of Premier 12, in which the Cuban team was eliminated after achieving just one win in its five appearances.
The Premier 12 was a breeze
The right-hander from Havana had the mission of starting the duel against the Japanese, and he was barely able to complete two innings in which he allowed three hits and a couple of runs.
Medina, who was expected to play a greater role, arrived at the tournament injured after working in the last preparatory match, and barely worked a third of an inning, allowing one earned run.
