He kicked the front door of an apartment until it broke down and once inside he threatened the two women who were inside – mother and daughter – with a baseball bat, forcing them to give him money. The events, which became known in the last few hours, occurred last Thursday in Concesio, a town of around 15 thousand inhabitants in the Brescia area.
A girl who lived in the apartment together with her mother and younger brother asked for help from the Carabinieri of Villa Carcina. The young woman told the soldiers that for a few days the man – a Pakistani citizen – had been appearing in front of their house asking for a sum of money for no reason. However, on Thursday evening the situation worsened. After breaking down the front door, the Pakistani attempted to attack the mother and daughter who took refuge under a table, in the meantime contacting the operations center to request help.
When the police arrived, the young man was still on the landing of the house, in a clear state of psychophysical alteration. Immediately arrested, he was subjected to a search which revealed that he was in possession of a baseball bat, two switchblade knives and a pepper spray can. The man, who had a police record for crimes against property, was arrested in flagrante delicto for the hypotheses of attempted aggravated robbery and carrying weapons or objects capable of offending. He is now in the prison of Brescia.
