Nicolás Morales Rey and Sergio Zapata Ramírez represent Quindío with the hope of winning medals in the badminton discipline during the I National Youth and Parayouth Games of the Coffee Region 2024.

This Tuesday, November 26, they will face the Valle del Cauca Édgar Andrés Mejía Prada and Alejandro Potosía Gómez in the quarterfinals of the doubles category, seeking to ensure their passage to the semifinals.
In addition, Morales and Zapata remain in the individual competition, where they are strong contenders for the podium, backed by outstanding performances both nationally and internationally.
For its part, another Quindian duo, made up of Juan Miguel Morales Mayorga and Samuel Alejandro Gámez Vargas, was competing at the close of this edition for qualification to the quarterfinals against the Cundinamarca team Santiago Villegas Ríos and Samuel Eduardo Zoque García.
