Venezuelan professional baseball is finishing its seventh week of action and the standings had movement this weekend. Margarita’s Bravos continue to lead Venezuelan baseball, supported by what they have achieved in their home of Nueva Esparta.
There are already 13 wins in 17 games in that house. A record rarely seen in the LVBP.
However, yesterday they received a shutout from the Águilas del Zulia, who managed to win in Guatamare and thus regain second place in Venezuelan baseball.
The Marabinos took advantage of Magallanes’ defeat to regain their position and remain in direct qualifying positions for the Round Robin.
Cardenales de Lara reaches two consecutive victories, and recovers positions. They are now fourth after reaching seventh place this week.
For their part, Tiburones de La Guaira and Leones del Caracas won their respective matches and are also breathing. Both are fifth and sixth, respectively, and hope to have a good eighth week to move up in the standings.
The Venezuelan Professional Baseball League (LVBP) from Venezuela has the Sharks, the current Venezuelan baseball champions, as big favorites. However, Magallanes, Bravos and Águilas are playing great baseball and can get into the fight to take away the championship.
From now on, all teams want to accumulate the greatest number of games won to comfortably qualify for the Round Robin (all against all system).

The games will end on December 21 and after Christmas, the 2025 Round Robin will begin to define the two teams that will be in the LVBP Final.
