The judo club successfully launched the Christmas market period in the area, which here doubled as a toy box dump. If some were still hesitant about the choice of gifts, the opportunities were numerous. There was “handmade”, often the work of creators particularly in terms of decoration and candles but also manufactured objects in the register of leather goods, jewelry, clothing, scarves and others and products to consume such as craft beers, spit cakes, roasted chestnuts or local hazelnuts in different forms. Particularly mild weather allowed the little ones to enjoy rides on the ponies and in the carriage. Moreover, it was on this vehicle that Santa Claus made his arrival, much awaited by some, while for others even the candy was not enough to give them confidence. With numerous wooden games, the Val de Gers toy library was very popular with both parents and children, but there was also a great novelty with the presence of a magician and his card tricks which always greatly annoy those who try to understand when there is nothing… to understand! On the toy market side, the stands were well stocked and generally manned by a host of young sellers still operating under the eye of parents, often the proceeds from the sale being quickly reinvested. If fast food was planned at midday, in fact we could eat all day with homemade pastries and pastries often made on site by a brigade of Mother Christmases, without forgetting the traditional mulled wine. In summary, general satisfaction, both on the organizational side and on the customer side.
