Estepona Badminton Club triumphs at home in the penultimate round of the IV Provincial Circuit’24

The event took place on Saturday May 23rd at the Polideportivo El Carmen and was attended by 35 representatives of the association.

The Estepona Town Hall announces that the Estepona Badminton Club won the fourth day of the IV Provincial Badminton Circuit Diputación de Málaga 2024 at home last Saturday. Thirty-five players from the Estepona club took part in the penultimate day of the calendar. All categories were played individually, from the Minis (under 11) to the Seniors (over 30), with the exception of the U13 category, which also played doubles. Esteponeros were represented in all these categories, which shows the growth of the club.

The results of the players from Club Bádminton Estepona were as follows:

Mixed doubles (DX) U13: 3. Sara Aguilar and Adrián Chareton

IM U15 (Level C): 1. Gonzalo Márquez

IM U17/19: 1. Juan Salas, 3. Javier Galiano and Daniel Ríos

IF U17/19: 1. Andrea Munoz, 2. Lucia Gavino

IM Absolute/Senior: 1. Lucas Carmona, 2. Julio Román

IM Absolute/Senioren (Stufe C): 1. Juan Andrés Martínez (24-hour Municipal Schools), 2. Karol Maleska

IF Absolute Senior: 3. Lilith Lacey

The IV Provincial Badminton Circuit 2024 is organized by the Provincial Government of Málaga, the Andalusian Badminton Federation through the Málaga Delegation and the municipalities involved in the program. In this edition the circuit had five venues. It began on June 9th in Villanueva de Algaidas and continued in the municipalities of Rincón de la Victoria, Cañete la Real and Estepona until it ended on December 14th in Alhaurín el Grande, the final venue.
