The men’s professional tennis association, ATP, updated its official website on the 25th and announced the four players who have been selected to participate in the Under-20s final round, the Next Gen ATP Finals (Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, Hard), which will begin on December 18th. .

The tournament will feature eight players under the age of 20, including the top seven players who have earned points over the year and those who have been given wild cards (recommended by the organizer). Participants will be divided into groups of four and compete in a preliminary round robin, with the top two from each group advancing to the semi-finals. The match format is a 4-game, 5-set match, and has been held six times since 2017, excluding 2020, which was affected by the new coronavirus.

The first champion was Chung Hyun (South Korea), followed by S. Tsitsipas (Greece), J. Sinner (Italy), C. Alcaraz (Spain), B. Nakashima (USA), and H. Medjedovic (Serbia).

A. Fils (France)
Fils reached the finals of the tournament last year and is having another impressive season on tour this year. Among them, the titles that stand out are the Hamburg European Open (Germany/Hamburg, Red Clay, ATP500) and the Kinoshita Group Japan Open Tennis Championships 2024 (Japan/Tokyo, Hard, ATP500). This season’s record is 37 wins and 26 losses.

A. Mikkelsen (USA)
Mikkelsen made his debut in the tournament last year and has decided to participate again this year. She broke into the top 50 in August of this year and is currently ranked 42nd in the world. Mikkelsen reached the tour-level finals this season at the Infosys Hall of Fame Open (Newport, USA, Turf, ATP250) and the Winston Salem Open (Hard, ATP250, Winston-Salem, USA).
