From November 23rd to 24th, our county held the 2024 Yao Foundation Elementary School Basketball Competition at the Changjiang Kapok Experimental School of Capital Normal University to further enrich students’ after-school life, cultivate students’ interest in basketball, and improve basketball skills.

12 teams from schools in various towns and villages in our county participated. The game process was exciting. On the field, the players from both sides were actively engaged and went all out. They all worked hard, dribbling, passing, fast breaks, and layups. Their movements were smooth and fluid. The wonderful transitions between offense and defense were dizzying. The audience outside the stadium was in high spirits, with endless cheers and cheers.
Li Jun, the referee for the 2024 Yao Foundation Hope Primary School Basketball Season, said: “We are very proud to see the children working so hard on the court. I hope this experience can become a valuable asset for the children on the road to basketball. No matter whether they win or lose, it will be a sign of growth. part of it.”

The competition is jointly sponsored by the County Education Bureau and the Youth League County Committee. The competition will be held from November 23 to 24. The latest “Basketball Competition Rules” approved by the State Sports General Administration will be adopted, and additional regulations will be implemented. Each participating team will have 5 players. Must include at least 1 female team member. The participating teams are divided into three groups: A, B, and C for a single round-robin competition. All groups compete in a 5-on-5 full-court format, and the championship, second and third place in each group will eventually be competed.
